Job Description: Building Surveyor (Building Control) required for office re-locations with Local Authority / Council.
- First hand experience of office refurbishments / fit outs and office re-locations - Ability to work with a whole range of clients who may have no experience of office moves, refurbishments or re-locations. - Experience of supporting clients deliver their vision for change. - Design skills, ability to produce CAD drawings and specifications, have experience of submitting building control applications for office refurbishments. - Experience of leading the technical project team (mechanical and electrical engineers, structural engineers and quantity surveyors). - Understanding of the ICT / Telecom functionality requirements and experience of integrating these works into the office refurbishments/re-locations projects. - Experience of working with removal companies to assist with the moves. - Commitment to working unsocial hours as all the moves are carried out in the evenings or at weekends.
Applicants will need to have passed examinations in a building control related discipline leading towards corporate membership of a recognised professional body, for example, MRICS, ABEng.
